Kat is a soprano who has recently graduated with a first in undergraduate music from Sussex University, where she studied singing with Penny Jenkins. She has begun studying under Xenia Mejer at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in September. She has had the privilege of being coached by Neil Jenkins, Dame Felicity Lott, Deborah Roberts (The Tallis Scholars), Mercedes Hernandez and Fernando Reyes Ferron (Resonet), David Wilson-Johnson, Chris Bucknell and William Carslake. She has also been conducted by Daniel Barenboim, Gustavo Dudamel and Howard Goodall. She was the recipient of the Springboard Festival’s Madame Mimi Scharrer cup and has been awarded a bursary to AIMS Summer school for the last 3 years, as well as winning a free place at Benslow Music for their Purcell course in 2015.
Kat’s recent solo performances include a performance of Carissimi's Jonas & Jepthe with the 
Sweelink Baroensemble, a semi-staged luchconcert performance of Purcell's Dido and Aeneas at the National Opera and Ballet as a part of the Herengracht Young Artist Development Studio, and a Christmas concert for children with her functions group Trio Dilectio. She recently sang on an upcoming CD of newly discovered music with early music group Musica Secreta, which is available for pre-order on their website now.

Mozart: Magic Flute (Jackdaws and Ardingly International Music School- AIMS), Madame Silverpeal; Mozart: The Impresario (AIMS), Soer Constance; Poulenc: Dialogue of the Carmelites (AIMS); Belinda, Purcell: Dido and Aeneas, (Brighton Early Music Festival- BREMF), First Witch/Second Woman (Triora Musica Summer School in Italy, Herengracht Young Artist Development Studio, Woodhouse Opera), and Spirit (Burgess Hill Choral Society). She also recently performed in several performances of Francesca Caccini’s La Liberazione di Ruggiero Dall'Isola d’Alcina (BREMF). Oratorio performances includeCarissimi's Jepthe, Charpentier's Messe de Mnuit, the Pie Jesu from Faure’s Requiem with the Brighton Festival Chorus and London Gala Orchestra, solos from Scarlatti’s St Cecilia Mass and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, and solos from Bach’s Mass in B Minor.In 2013, Kat sang Britten’s Abraham and Isaac, A Ceremony of Carols and Rejoice in the Lamb with Neil Jenkins and The Sussex Chorus and solos from Vivaldi’s Gloria with Gravesham Choral Society. She has also sung solos form Britten’s Spring Symphony and Handel’s Brockes Passion at AIMS. She recently sang the Cozzelani Vespers in BREMF, broadcast on BBC Radio 3, and sang in a Music of our Time (MOOT) concert celebrating the life of Milton Babbit, also broadcast on radio 3. In 2015 she also sang in a concert of music by Hildegard von Bingen with The Telling.
Kat is available to hire for functions (weddings, funerals, parties) along with her group Trio Dilectio. She is also available as a private singing teacher.
